Is the affiliate commission paid on the annual subscription or just the first seven bucks?

Commissions paid on recurring subscriptions.

You get commish on the first $7 and on the $47/yr when it rolls over.

As long as they do not cancel their subscription you get commissions every year/quarter depending on their subscription length.
